The canopus converts the VCR video/audio to DV format and streams it to the PC over 1394. The VCR composite video and stereo audio are fed into the front end of the canopus converter. Procedure as follows: stick a tape in the VCR. I have a !LOT! of captured video and it will be a major pain if I have to convert first. I use HandBrake quite a bit for conversions but I really hope I can get things working like they should. I installed the K-Lite codecs, rebooted and tried again. There have been some posts with problems using IEEE-1395 (Firewire) and W7. I don't quite understand the procedure you are following.ĭo you still have some FV avis that you captured when using XP? Can you add them to Videoave or myDVD? When I try to pull the captured AVI files into VideoWave or MyDVD I get a warning dialog "One or more of the files you are trying to add cannot be edited, and have not been added."
